HOOPNOTICA HULA HOOP Fitness
If you are looking for a fun and easy way to strengthen your core muscles and you want a change from Yoga and Pilates, give this class a try!  Hooping is a great way to burn calories (between 400 and 600/hour) and tighten the core. Beginning Level hooping is a no to low impact activity.  This makes it ideal for people with joint issues affected by impact. The fitness hoops provided for use in class are heavier and bigger than the children's hoops you would find in most toy stores.  There are also portable hoops to take to the park.  Custom hoops are available for purchase for $40.  I am a certified Hoopnotica Instructor, Levels 1 & 2.  For more information about Hoopnotica, please visit their website http://www.hoopnotica.com/113.html.   6 weeks of classes $70 on Wednesdays resume on January 18th, 2012 at 6pm.

Belly Dance, Fitness  through Dance
Najla shares her knowledge of the ancient art of belly dance.  You will learn an actual choreographed dance.  Belly dance is one of the oldest dance forms and has incredible benefits to the body. Burn calories, massage and stimulate the digestive system with these dance techniques. You can achieve improved fitness no matter your age, shape, size or experience with this fun program. Wednesdays 7pm – 8pm for 6 weeks beginning January 18, 2012. $50

Oriental Belly Dance
This ancient dance will get you fit while having fun. You will improve your flexibility, isolate and strengthen specific muscles, especially hips, arms, legs, abs and back. Improve your posture, boost your confidence, and unleash your inner goddess. This is a BEGINNER level class where we focus on proper posture, basic moves and a simple choreography. Limit: 30 participants.   Registration information will soon be available on the UofW website.  Please click on above link, then click on dance instructions for further details and regsitration.  Classes will run on Mondays from 5:00 - 6:00 pm, beginning January 23rd, 2012.

Belly Dance Performances

Below is a price guideline for events in the Windsor, Ontario area.  Additional mileage charges may apply based on location. 

Bellygram - $140  This is a mini belly dance performance (10-15 minutes in length.)  This option is ideal for smaller parties.

Classic Bellydance Routine - $175  Najla will perform solo for approximately 20-25 minutes in a beautiful professional sparkling costume.  After that, the goal will be to get members of the audience, and/or the special guest of the night up to dance as well.  Audience participation is encouraged as it makes the evening much more fun for everyone.  For those who prefer not to dance, they may enjoy keeping the beat with a tambourine or some finger cymbals.

Goddess Parties - $175  Najla will come to your home and do a short performance and then teach you and your friends an actual dance.  Duration is approximately 90 minutes.  You just need a room large enough to accomodate your guests.  You will be bellydancing by the time it's over!

NO BACHELOR PARTIES PLEASE!  IT'S NOT THAT KIND OF SHOW!

Please note, a performance contract will be required as well as a cash deposit for half of the fee at the time of booking.  This will ensure that Najla will have your date booked in her calendar and will be there, rain or shine.
